Tofu Spread

Ingredients

Tofu (soybeans, water, magnesium chloride), mayonnaise (canola oil, water, vinegar, sea salt, liquid whole egg, liquid yolk, sugar, egg yolk powder, concentrated lemon juice, spices), carrots, prepared mustard (mustard seeds, turmeric), garlic, onions, tamari (soybeans, sugar), natural flavour, herbs.

Contains: Soy, egg, mustard.

Use

  • A wonderful alternative to egg sandwiches;
  • Spread on pita and roll for a meal on the go;
  • Serve on toast or Melba Toast;
  • Serve as a topping for a chicken burger or fish sandwich;
  • Stuff fancy rolls;
  • Dress up an endive salad;
  • Stuff mini vol-au-vent (Puff pastry shell);
  • Form the tofu spread into little balls and coat them with freshly chopped parsley or nuts;
  • For a marvelous sandwich, alternate the bread slices with tofu spread, taboule and végépâté

Preservation

  • The expiration date (best before) is for an unopened product. Once the product is opened, it is good for approximately 3 to 5 days.
  • Keep refrigerated between 0º C and 4º C or 32º F and 39º F.
