Energy Bites

Recipe Ingredients

1 cup of oats
½ cup of chickpeas, rinsed & drained
1 container of Fontaine Santé Red Lentil Humm! (1 cup)
2 tbsp of olive oil
2 Medjool dates, pitted and softened in hot water
¼ cup of sunflower seeds
¼ cup of pumpkin seeds
1 tbsp of nutritional yeast (optional)
¼ tsp of sea salt
Ground black pepper
1 pinch of cayenne pepper
Extra chopped nuts of your choice

  • Portions: 15 balls

Preparation

In a food processor, mix the oats for a few seconds to blend it into small “pieces”. Add the rest of the ingredients into the oats and mix a few more seconds.

Transfer the mixture to a bowl and form 15 small round balls.

Roll the balls in the chopped nuts of your choice (almonds, walnuts, pecans etc.)

Let stand in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before eating.

The balls can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
